Is the opportunity data real?
In demo mode, opportunities are clearly labeled Demo Data and are not live federal solicitations — they mirror real SAM.gov fields so you can see how matching works. With live data configured, opportunities come from official sources (e.g. the SAM.gov Opportunities API) with source links, freshness timestamps, and confidence indicators. We never present demo data as real or silently mix the two.
What is the fit score, and how is it calculated?
The fit score is a transparent 0–100 number computed from weighted factors — NAICS, capability keywords, set-aside/certification alignment, target agency, PSC, past performance, deadline feasibility vs. your capacity, geography, and an exclusion-keyword penalty. It is deterministic and explainable: every score shows the factor breakdown, the top reasons, and the top risks. It is decision-support, not a verdict.
Do you guarantee we'll win contracts?
No. GovConAgent does not guarantee contract awards, eligibility, compliance, or proposal success. It helps you decide faster which opportunities are worth your time and gives you a head start on pursuit assets — all requiring human review.
Can you tell me if we're eligible for a set-aside?
We surface where your profile may align with a set-aside, but eligibility is determined by the government and the contractor — never by us. Always verify eligibility, active registrations, and certifications against the official notice before pursuing.
Are you affiliated with the U.S. Government?
No. GovConAgent is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Government.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. The first match flow is no-login: complete a company profile, see matched opportunities with fit scores, and generate a bid/no-bid brief and a compliance matrix preview. Saved opportunities and pipeline tracking are account features (coming soon).
What's the difference between the $497 Pack and the subscription?
They're separate products. The $497 Intelligence Pack is a one-time, done-for-you snapshot (25 opportunities, memos, a compliance checklist, a pursuit plan). The subscriptions (Free → Capture Plus $499/mo) provide ongoing matching, briefs, and pipeline.
How accurate are the AI-generated briefs and matrices?
They are AI-assisted drafts that separate facts extracted from the notice from AI analysis, and flag assumptions, unknowns, and risks. They may be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify every requirement, deadline, and eligibility detail against the official solicitation and attachments before acting.
